The terms and conditions governing our web design and development services
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between [COMPANY_NAME] ("Atama", "we", "us", or "our") and you ("Client", "you", or "your") when you engage our web design, development, and related digital services. By commissioning work from Atama, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Atama provides professional web design and development services, including but not limited to:
The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each project will be outlined in a written project proposal or agreement provided before work begins.
We offer three standard service packages:
A clean, professional single-page website ideal for new businesses, freelancers, and personal brands. Includes responsive design, basic SEO setup, contact form integration, and 30 days of post-launch support.
A multi-page website with expanded functionality for growing businesses. Includes up to 5 pages, custom design, content management guidance, analytics integration, and 60 days of post-launch support.
A comprehensive, fully custom website with advanced features. Includes unlimited pages, bespoke design, advanced animations and interactions, SEO optimisation, performance tuning, and 90 days of post-launch support.
Custom projects outside these packages will be quoted individually based on scope and complexity. All prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable.
Our standard project process consists of the following phases:
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payments are structured as follows:
We accept bank transfer and other payment methods as agreed. Payment details will be provided on your invoice.
Invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to pause or suspend work on overdue accounts. Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
Third-party costs such as domain registration, hosting fees, premium plugins, stock photography, or other external services are not included in our pricing unless explicitly stated. These costs are the Client's responsibility.
Each project includes 2 rounds of revisions at no additional cost. A "round of revisions" is defined as a single consolidated set of feedback and change requests submitted in writing (e.g., via email).
Revisions beyond the included 2 rounds are billed at €75 per additional round. We will notify you before proceeding with any billable revision work and obtain your written approval.
Revisions cover reasonable adjustments to the approved design, such as colour changes, layout tweaks, copy updates, and image swaps. Requests that significantly alter the project scope, require new functionality, or amount to a redesign will be treated as additional work and quoted separately.
To ensure timely and successful project delivery, you agree to:
Delays caused by late content delivery or feedback may result in adjusted timelines and, in some cases, additional charges.
Estimated timelines are provided in the project proposal and depend on the complexity of the project and the timely provision of content and feedback by the Client. Typical timelines are:
Timelines are estimates, not guarantees. We will communicate proactively if any delays arise. Atama is not liable for delays caused by the Client's failure to provide content, feedback, or approvals in a timely manner.
Upon receipt of full payment, all rights to the final deliverables — including custom designs, code, and assets created specifically for your project — are transferred to you. You will own the completed website and its custom elements.
Any pre-existing tools, code libraries, frameworks, or assets used in the project that were not created specifically for you remain the property of their respective owners. You are granted a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use these elements as part of your website.
We reserve the right to display the completed project in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing.
Any third-party assets (stock photos, fonts, icons, plugins) used in the project are subject to their respective licences. We will inform you of any licensing requirements for third-party assets included in your project.
You may cancel the project at any time by providing written notice. In the event of cancellation:
We reserve the right to terminate a project if the Client is unresponsive for more than 30 consecutive days, fails to make required payments, or engages in conduct that makes continued collaboration unreasonable. In such cases, we will provide written notice and invoice for work completed to date.
If a project is paused at the Client's request for more than 30 days, we reserve the right to reassess the timeline and, if necessary, adjust the project quote to reflect any additional effort required to resume work.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We warrant that our services will be performed with reasonable skill and care. However:
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the course of the project. This includes business strategies, unreleased content, login credentials, and financial information. This obligation survives the termination of the agreement.
Neither party shall be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, internet outages, government actions, or other force majeure events.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which [COMPANY_NAME] is registered. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which [COMPANY_NAME] is registered.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Changes do not apply retroactively to projects already in progress under a signed agreement.
